Dr. Hye Young Shin, DDS
Dr. Shin is the founder of Charis Dental and a graduate of the New York University College of Dentistry, where she developed a strong foundation in comprehensive, evidence-based dental care. Her education and clinical experience in New York have shaped her commitment to precision, thoughtful treatment planning, and elevated patient care.

Dr. Shin is currently an active participant in the NYU Implant Fellowship Program, where she continues to advance her expertise in implant dentistry and surgical treatment planning.
She approaches every case with careful analysis and a long-term perspective. Dr. Shin believes dentistry should be intentional and conservative when appropriate, with meticulous execution that supports both function and natural aesthetics.

Her clinical focus includes restorative and cosmetic dentistry, clear aligner therapy, TMJ management, and therapeutic Botox for the management of orofacial pain and muscle-related conditions. She is a member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners and is a certified provider of Invisalign. She has also completed advanced Botox training at New York University.
